The mats give you a decent workout area. Otherwise, there is nothing special about it.
i got these because our apartment is on the 3rd floor of an older building and i have a bench that can be quite loud when i am doing sit-ups. i put these under the bench and have been using it like this for over a week now and have had no noise complaints, so i would say that it is doing a good job so far. we’ll see if it holds up.
I purchased the Impex mat system to place under my squat rack. Everything is as it should be…quality mats, easy to assemble.
Maybe they would be better on a hard surface, however, on carpet they just are not firm enough and have too much give to them to be really effective. Also, if you barely brush against the ends they come off.
